The Mermaid's Cry!
August 4–8, 2025
10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
German Port Museum, Schuppen 5, Australiastraße
20457 Hamburg
An experimental sound workshop with Elena Victoria Pastor and the Sea Women (Sea Women Parade).
together with Leonie Maltz & Julio Celis
Together, we’ll dive into the myths surrounding mermaids, sea women, and other creatures from the depths of the sea. Through sound experiments, feminist perspectives, and underwater microphones, we’ll join @elenavictoriapastor and @seefrauenparade to listen for voices in the Port of Hamburg and what they’re trying to tell us. Who’s actually telling which stories, and how do they sound when we rewrite them?
In and around the German Harbor Museum, we’ll explore harbor history, build hydrophones, and listen closely to the surroundings both above and below the water before transforming our own sound recordings into installations and a performance with the “Seefrauen” of the Seefrauenparade.
On August 9, 2025, we’ll present our sound work on a barge during the Alster Water Parade, before the Seefrauen (Seefrauenparade) interpret our sounds during the International Summer Festival at Kampnagel on August 10, 2025.

Hajusom 2025
Reclaim the Stage: Unleash Moves, Unapologetic Confidence
Hajusom e.V.
Bunker 2. Stock
Feldstraße 66
20359 Hamburg
Facilitator Jessica Hernández
Creator/host of Workshop elena victoria pastor
In this high-energy dance workshop, everyone—regardless of gender or background—is invited to express themselves confidently through their bodies and movements. Over the course of three hours, we’ll dive deep into the fundamentals of hip-hop and house dance and use these styles to foster body positivity, self-confidence, and freedom of expression.
The goal is to dance without fear or prejudice, to celebrate your own body’s rhythm, and to learn to claim your space both on the dance floor and beyond. Together, we’ll explore the basics of hip-hop and house dance and use them to perform choreographed routines that help you express yourself confidently and unapologetically, before moving on to freestyle—free from societal expectations, in an intercultural setting.
Please bring comfortable clothing and dance shoes. We’ll take breaks as needed to refuel with water and snacks. A formal lunch won’t be provided, so please plan accordingly.
You can participate on one or both days!

Hajusom 2025
Reclaim the Stage: Bodies in Motion
April, 05, 2025
Hajusom e.V.
Bunker 2. Stock
Feldstraße 66
20359 Hamburg
Facilitator Laura Stefanidis
Creator/host of Workshop elena victoria pastor
In this dynamic workshop, we’ll explore with participants how we can express ideas and feelings through the body, guided by the rhythm of hip-hop music. Through performance and theater exercises, we’ll challenge gender stereotypes, sexualized, and clichéd gestures, and instead focus on how our bodies can communicate fluidity and individuality.
Participants work in small groups and choose a music video by well-known female hip-hop artists as a starting point. From there, we develop a series of exercises that interpret the song (its energy) through body language—using gestures, facial expressions, hand movements, or full-body performances. This exploration takes place both individually and in groups.
At the end of the workshop, each group presents the results of their creative process in an entertaining and supportive “battle” format, in which everyone has the opportunity to showcase their unique style of expression.

At 6:00 p.m., we’ll kick off the closing celebration with a group concert where you can play your own river instruments!
