Pieces of organic wood emerge from the broken canvas in a powerful expression. The title of the work prompts us to reflect on the concept of performance translated into an objectual expression.
This artwork was conceptualized during Elena Victoria's artist residency at Art Circle 2022, where she was invited by the German Embassy as part of the International Visual Arts Festival in Brda, Slovenia. The initial idea took shape in Slovenia in 2022, and in 2023, new pieces were created during Elena Victoria's art residency at Sintropía Gavilán in Caracas.
These captivating pieces were later exhibited at La Casa Disiente in 2023, showcasing the culmination of the creative process.
